Re: Home Ground
Is that advertised attendance or actual folk in the ground?

Doesn't mean a lot either way does it. Let's do it on the pitch first before we boast about the numbers watching us not doing it.

We were a lot better today on the pitch mind, in the stands too. Atmosphere was decent.

Re: Home Ground
And another positive (of sorts)

We are currently third when it comes to attendances, only Man U and Arsenal have a higher home ground attendance.

Re: Home Ground
Yeah, I thought that our fans were very supportive today and couldn't really have given much more today in the circumstances.

Still, there'll be a few wankers on here shortly who will still have a camp, bitchy potshot at their own supporters.

I'll start "moving forward " when the fucking players start, and when the cunt sullivan starts to spend proper money, and by that I don't mean fucking loans.

Re: Home Ground
Who gives a fuck about seats?

Open your eyes!

We need support from true West Ham, support.
We have a great team and payet who I believe is the best player we have ever had.

Get behind the team and bums on seats will follow.
D & G are true business. Fans will always dictate it what rules - If they try to fuck us over we will always win.

Superb atmosphere today, very noisy. I anyone thinks we have ever had a better atmosphere v boro at Upton Park they are a liar. They normally only bring about 500 as well.

Once we get a team like Chelsea over there it'll be mental.

Re: Home Ground
It's much better than that lopsided dump we were playing in but isn't really a football ground and I've never liked the prospect of renting rather than owning. I've no problem going there to watch games there though.
The team on the pitch needs to do more to lift the atmosphere and people just need to get used to it.

Those pining after the old ground are too sentimental IMO.

Sounded great

'We should have stayed at the Boleyn', echoed round West Ham's new dwellings – not to mention yet more crowd disturbances – during junctures of this clash against Middlesbrough.
